Supporting BLESMA

NewNet are proud to support the British Limbless Ex Service Men's Association (BLESMA). We believe that service men and women fight hard to protect our country and therefore deserve to receive the help and support they need should they get injured whilst doing so.

BLESMA directly supports service men and women who lose their limbs or the use of limbs, including their eyes, when working in the service of our country. It is their aim to offer these victims the guidance they require whenever they need it for the rest of their lives.

In order to successfully fulfil all of the objectives that they set out, the charity needs to raise nearly two million pounds a year. NewNet is hoping that our support will help BLESMA to reach their goals of:

• Providing challenging and effective rehabilitation for service men and women who have suffered from amputation or the loss of a limb
• Offering permanent residential care and a safe environment during recovery periods at one of our BLESMA homes
• Presenting grants to victims in order to help ease the effects of living with a disability
• Having the funds and staff available to provide a comprehensive and effective welfare service for all members and widows.

BLESMA is a fantastic and much needed charity that helps service men and women to re-build their lives after the devastating effects of losing a limb. Their work begins with rehabilitation so they can show victims that there is life after amputation and continues for the rest of their lives so they always have a network of support around them.
