Router Configuration

Windows & Mac Installation

Please read the following configuration instructions...

To begin configuring your BT Voyager Wireless Router please ensure your computer is turned on and the BT Voyager 2110 router is connected to your computer via the Ethernet cable provided and turned on.

Open an Internet browser window (IE, Firefox etc.) and enter your Gateway IP in the address bar of your browser window. e.g. http://192.168.1.1 and click "go".

You will now be presented with the BT Voyager 2110 Wireless Router Configuration Manager web site. You are now ready to work through the following procedure:

STEP 1. Enter your username and password.

Voyager Quick Start

Enter your NewNet Broadband username and password in the boxes provided. These details can be found in the service configuration data sent following your order. Please make sure that the password is entered exactly as shown on the data sheet.

Click the red 'Connect' button to connect to NewNet Broadband service.

Follow the remaining instructions to check and ensure your system configuration

STEP 2. Click on "Advanced..." within the Configuration web page and then select 'Quick Setup from the menu (left hand side of the configuration page.

You will be prompted to enter a Username and Password. Enter:

    Username: admin
    Password: admin

and click 'OK'

Click 'Quick Setup' to follow the Quick Setup procedure.

STEP 3. Follow the Quick Set Up procedure

Check that the settings shown for your router match those shown in the screenshots.... Press the Next button to move from frame to frame.

Click the 'Finish' button to complete the Quick Set up procedure.

To enter other Advanced set-up procedures, select the options from the menu at the left hand side of the router configuration page.

STEP 4. Change the default password

NewNet always recommends that users change the default factory set password. Select the System option from the Advanced settings menu - then select Admin Password

Enter your new password and then again to confirm. Click the 'Apply' button to set the password.

Make sure that the password is something that you will remember - good passwords include a mixture of letters and numbers (but using vehicle registration numbers is NOT recommended!)
