IP Transit is designed as a highly resilient, high quality service for
customers who require fast, reliable IP Transit Internet access in the
London docklands.
NewNet delivers IP Transit connections from 10Mbps to 1Gbps in
TeleHouse and
TeleCity data centres in the London Docklands. IP Transit can be
provided
with an IP address allocation or as a BGP feed. Each data centre
can provide dual port access to ensure a highly resilient service.
Full IP Transit

Resilient Architecture
NewNet operates a Tier 2
Multihomed IP Transit network, providing the best route selection for
your destination to the Internet.
We have an extensive peering agreement with the largest
networks including Microsoft, BT, Virgin Media, Tiscali, AboveNet, PSI
Europe and Demon and the main UK ISP's. IP Transit provision includes Level3, Global Crossing, KPN, Cogent and TeleGlobe.
Transit from NewNet will be delivered on a highly available HSRP
virtual gateway system. HSRP monitors the access routers and
steps in immediately should the primary router providing your gateway not be available, giving you extra peace of mind.
For the ultimate peace of mind - fully redundant extra access points are available.
24x7 telephone
and ticketed support
NewNet operate a highly
technical network operation centre (NOC) that is manned 24x7 with first
line support staff having router access to immediately address customer
queries. We also have a UK helpdesk centre that respond to
non-critical ticket queries and are available 24x7 to support your
service.

NewNet has a sophisticated
management platform that enables real-time full network visibility for
monitoring and management. The platform gives minute by
minute visibility into the performance of the IP transit product and
intelligently routes traffic by monitoring the Internet.

delivered by volume of bandwidth and priced per Mbps per month on
limitation basis or using 95th percentile billing model.
Our IP Transit is fully burstable up to line speed. Maximum
bandwidth is only limited by physical port size, 10Mb or 100Mb Ethernet.
