Setting up a dial-up account in Windows Vista

Click on Start > Control Panel

Click Network and Internet

Select Internet Options

Select the connections tab and click add.

Select No, create a new connection and click Next.

Select ‘dial-up’

Enter the dial up phone number 0845 0800 022 and your username and password as supplied by NewNet, then enter a name for the connection and click Connect.

Click ‘Close’

Got to the Control Panel and Select ‘Network and Sharing Centre’

Select ‘Connect to a Network’

Select ‘Dial-up connection’, then right click and select ‘properties’

Select the ‘Networking’ tab, then select ‘Internet protocol version4 (TCP/IPv4) and click ‘properties’

Set the IP address to be obtained automatically, and the DNS servers to be entered manually.
Primary DNS: 212.87.64.7
Secondary DNS: 212.87.64.10
Then click ‘OK’

Select ‘Use IP header compression’ and then click ‘OK’

The Dial-up connection is now complete!
