Powerhost Support - Creating a hosting package
The PowerHost Reseller account setup charge includes a 2 hour training session in the creation of the package. To create hosting packages, log in to your PowerHost account and then click the 'Login' icon to enter the Administration Panel in a new window.
1. Click on “Info” and “Package creation wizards”.
2. Select the type of package to create. The Wizard provides options to create UNIX and Windows packages together with MySQL, Email and Administrator plans. 3. Enter a name for the package at the top of the page, such as “Unix Hosting 1”. Leave all default options, and also select “Third level domain” in the “Domain Types” section of the service list. This will create a hosting package with all services that are checked in the list available to it.Note: Screen shot shows UNIX creation panel - click the image to switch to Windows screen shot.
4. Click next to continue and enter data to suite your requirements. For example, the following information is shown:
Click the Create button at the bottom of the panel when all data has been entered. This will create a hosting package that (for example) costs £10 per month and includes 1GB of monthly bandwidth, 100MB webspace and up to 20MB diskspace per mailbox with excess bandwidth usage charged at £10 per GB. 5. The hosting package should now be displayed in the package list with an icon indicating that it is disabled (all new packages are disabled until enabled by you). 6. Click on the “Access” icon for the package and check the “Administrative account” checkbox. This will allow you to signup new customers to this package. Click “Packages” in the main menu to return to the hosting packages list. 7. Now enable the hosting package by clicking on the large orange cross icon. This should change to a tick to show that the package is now enabled.
