The postmaster@domain_name account cannot be changed or deleted - but you can edit the properties of the account and set up an alias to forward mail for this account to another user. The webmaster@domain_name account is also set up by default - but this account can be changed, edited and deleted.

Enter a new user name in the box at the top of the panel. Check the Mailbox box and then enter a password for the new mailbox. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the panel to create the new mailbox.

Catch all - when this box is selected, all incoming mail for the chosen domain without a specific user address will be directed to this mailbox. To prevent large amounts of unsolicited mail it is recommended that the Catch all is left unchecked.

AntiSpam/AntiVirus - select these check boxes to apply AntiSpam and AntiVirus filtering to this mailbox.

Mail forward - Select this option to forward mail for the chosen mailbox to another address. Enter the recipient address in the grey box and check the option. All mail arriving for this user@domain will be forwarded to the chosen address.

Autoresponder - select this option and enter text to creaste an automated response. When mail arrives at your mailbox the autoresponder will send the selected text to the remote sender.

Please note: Take care when selecting this option. You should not select autoresponder if this mailbox is part of a mailing list service. Mail from the list will generate an automated response to the list which will send the response to all members, creating a further response and a rapid loop!

AntiSPAM filtering  AntiSpam
PowerHost provides the user with controllable filters to manage AntiSpam filtering. AntiSpam filtering can be selected ON by default for all mailboxes at the Mail Info panel, or can be selected on or off for individual mailboxes through the Edit Mail User facility.

Click the AntiSpam icon in the Mail User area to launch the AntiSpam control panel.
AntiSPAM panel
The AntiSpam filter can be set to check at various levels - from a very aggressive level (may check genuine mail) to a permissive level (allows more Spam to pass unchecked).

Spam checked mail may be selected to be Tagged (adds {SPAM?} to the subject line), Removed from the mail system or Moved to another mail box (set up a 'Junk' account as a new mailbox and select 'Move To', enter Junk@userdomain in the destination box).

The AntiSpam filter panel offers options to enter addresses in a 'White' list (accepts all mail from designated addresses) or a 'Black' list (blocks all mail from designated addresses). Addresses may be entered individually or by using wildcards with ? or * - *@domain.com etc.
