Technical Director, NewNet plc.
Reporting to the Board, this new position requires an energetic, experienced manager with strong technical background to take responsibility for technical development and support required for the planned growth in sales; liaising closely with the senior management team and negotiating with suppliers to ensure best value servcies are delivered on time and on budget.
Managing the NewNet technical team with responsibilities including service delivery, service levels, network infrastructure, internal systems and support for new product development and delivering bespoke customer solutions.
Candidates should have ISP experience in a technical management role, with good project management skills and have diverse experience with a wide range of equipment together with a sound technical knowledge of routing and network management and experience in managing applications including Apache, sendmail, qmail, MySQL, MRTG,RRD an advantage, as well as hands on experience in server build, stock control, etc.

Shift Support Staff
Newnet is seeking to employ further staff for maintaining their 24/7 shift roster for security and customer support. Applicants will be expected to participate in a shift pattern between 6.00am - 10.00pm; candidates may also have to complete an occasional night shift requirement. Ideally candidates should have a customer service background with broadband ADSL, web and email applications knowledge.
