The NewNet Teleport offers one of the few purpose designed satellite ground-station facilities in the South of England.

The Teleport has current planning consent for the colocation of additional dish capacity allowing rapid installation and commissioning. On site cabins provide secure storage for all equipment and communications links. The site has clear line of sight for satellites accessible from this location.
All cabins are heavy duty Elliott construction with fire suppression provided (Wormald using Inergen equipment - two canisters fitted in parallel allowing for replacement to be made without removing suppression capability). Activation of fire suppression is automatic.
Intruder alarms are fitted to all cabins and remotely monitored along with temperature control sensors. Dual air handling units supply cooling as required.
UPS is fitted giving resilient supply in the event of power failure. The site is dual fed at 11KV and each cabin is dual fed a 440V 3-phase supply. Resilient power supply protection is provided by a diesel generator (5 days fuel available on-site) which will start within 10 seconds of a power failure.
The entire colocation site is within a secure walled environment with remotely monitored CCTV surveillance at all times.
The Teleport site is a nodal point for major communications links with direct point of presence access to fibre communications. Additional capacity from a wide range of providers is available nearby.
Fast Internet access can be provided through direct on-site fibre connection to NewNet - at any required client bandwidth level.
